Function

Our internship program :

As our IT Service Assistant intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in many projects that support your department’s strategic needs. Your days will include a range of tasks depending on the ongoing priorities, allowing you to :

  • Work closely with the IT Service Management Team to ensure appropriate communication within the customers and IT troubleshooting.
  • Document, update, and complete all knowledge articles in the appropriate Knowledgebase system.
  • Assist in handling service requests and incoming calls from customers.
  • Drive the incidents and problems required to the service backlog.
  • Ensure internal readiness and transfer knowledge for any new process and writing SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Assist in steering service continuity’s improvements activities.
  • Perform other IT related duties and responsibilities.

Profile

  • A current BA/BSc or MA/MSc student able to sign a University/Haute Ecole internship agreement with EMVO
  • You are a student in any relevant field, such as Computer Science, Business Management and Administration, Engineering or Information Technology program
  • A positive attitude with a service-driven and problem-solving mindset;
  • Strong analytical, organisational and planning skills;
  • Excellent time management skills;
  • The ability to prioritise, work independently and accurately on tasks;
  • Proficiency with MS Office;
  • Desire to go above and beyond and are eager to learn;
  • It is considered a plus: you know software development life cycle (SDLC) and ITIL standards.

Language

You can communicate effectively in English and possess both solid verbal and writing skills. Any other European languages will be seen as an asset.
